Whether you're ordering compost, gardening accessories, or natural soil enhancers, we take great care to ensure that your products are delivered in a timely, secure, and environmentally responsible manner. We offer free shipping on all orders as part of our commitment to making sustainable gardening more accessible. For orders below this value, a nominal shipping fee may be applicable, which will be clearly mentioned during the checkout process. Our products are packaged with the utmost care, using eco-conscious materials wherever possible, to maintain the integrity of the contents while minimizing environmental impact.


Once you place an order with Kapi Mitti, our fulfillment process begins almost immediately. Orders are typically processed and dispatched within two working days, except during public holidays, unforeseen supply delays, or logistical disruptions. Depending on your geographical location, the estimated delivery time ranges between 7 to 15 working days from the date of dispatch. We understand the excitement of receiving a package, especially when it involves nurturing your garden, so we do our best to ensure punctual delivery. In case of any delays due to unforeseen circumstances like extreme weather or courier network issues, we notify you proactively and keep you informed until your order is safely delivered.


After dispatch, you will receive an email or SMS with your tracking information, allowing you to monitor your package in real-time. You can always reach out to our support team if you encounter any trouble tracking your parcel or need an update on its status.

Returns and Exchanges: Compost Products


Because compost is an organic, perishable product that can be affected by air, moisture, and handling, we generally do not accept returns on compost products once they have been opened. Compost is a living material, and multiple transits (to and from the customer) can degrade its quality, making it unsuitable for use. For this reason, we request our customers to check product details carefully before purchasing.


However, customer satisfaction is our top priority. If your compost package arrives damaged, torn, wet, or otherwise compromised, we urge you to reach out to us within 48 hours of delivery. Please provide photographs or video evidence of the issue to help us assess the damage quickly. Once validated, we may offer a replacement product at no additional cost, or a full/partial refund, depending on the severity of the issue. We believe in being fair and transparent, and our support team is always ready to resolve such matters with empathy and urgency.


We understand that due to temperature fluctuations and handling during transit, compost bags may sometimes appear bloated or emit a natural smell. Please note that this is not a defect but a sign of active microbial life inside the compost—one of the indicators of quality. However, if you suspect contamination or an off-putting smell that indicates spoilage, don’t hesitate to bring it to our attention.

Returns and Exchanges: Non-Compost Products


For non-compost items such as gardening tools, accessories, or packaging materials, we are happy to accept returns under the right conditions. If any of these products reach you in a damaged or defective condition, please notify us within seven days of receiving your order. The product must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging to qualify for a return or exchange.


Once your return request is approved, you may be asked to send the product back to us. In most cases, you will need to self-return the product, and the return shipping cost will be borne by you. Upon receiving and inspecting the product, we will initiate a refund to your original payment method or dispatch a replacement, as per your preference.


In cases where you simply don’t like the product or change your mind after delivery (applicable only for non-compost items), you may still choose to self-return the item within 7 days of receiving it. However, it must be returned in a resaleable condition, and we reserve the right to decline the return if the product appears used or tampered with.


We do not accept returns for products that were purchased during clearance sales, bundled offers, or special promotional campaigns unless the product arrives damaged or defective.

Return Procedure


To initiate a return or exchange, please contact our customer support team by emailing support@kapimitti.com. Include your order ID, a brief description of the issue, and photographs if applicable. Our team typically responds within 24-48 hours and will guide you through the next steps.


The return address for all shipments will be shared with you upon confirmation of your return request. Please ensure that returned packages are securely packed to avoid any damage during transit. Kapi Mitti is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return shipping, so we recommend using a trackable courier service.

Refunds


Refunds are initiated within 5-7 business days after we receive and verify the returned product. Depending on your payment method, the credited amount may take up to 7-10 business days to reflect in your account. If you haven’t received your refund within this period, we advise checking with your bank or contacting our support team for assistance.


Refunds for prepaid orders will be issued to the original payment method, while refunds for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders will be made via UPI, bank transfer, or store credit, as per your convenience.

Cancellations


If you wish to cancel your order, you may do so within 6 hours of placing the order or before it is dispatched, whichever is earlier. Once the order is dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible. You can email our support team for urgent cancellation requests, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
